ABOUT US

The mentors of this project met in 2004 during a surf championship at Carcavelos beach and have since shared their strong attraction to the sea. Both were part of the national team in 2005, 2006, 2007, and 2008. Later, António pursued his studies, completing a degree in marketing and advertising and a master’s in digital marketing.
Tomas embarked on a successful career as a FreeSurfer professional, being one of the most prominent Portuguese surfers in the media. In 2014, after exchanging ideas, despite having chosen different paths before, they decided it was time to join forces and create LISBON SURF CONNECTION.

  • The first time I decided to try surfing was with the Lisbon Surf Connection school and I couldn't have chosen better! From Tomás and António to the rest of the team of teachers who are incredible, extremely dedicated and who give us a lot of confidence during class. It is also important to mention the care they take, in the case of group classes, not to exceed a certain number of students per teacher, which ends up resulting in a very personalized experience. I highly recommend it!
